Borghi Salute Benessere is an initiative that brings together communities, bodies and associations in the Campania region to showcase towns and villages, promoting their cultural, architectural and traditional heritage.

The project has been devised, planned and funded by the Campania Region. Scabec is behind the implementation, with scientific support from Prof. Annamaria Colao, Prof. Ferruccio Ferrigni, Prof. Marina Fumo and Prof. Pierluigi Petrillo.
It all stems from a regional strategy to repopulate municipalities in the Campania interior and strike a new balance in socio-economic development between the region’s coast and its hinterland, paving the way to the creation of new jobs, professional development and renewal of the local tourism industry.

Therefore, it welcomes the participation of communities (including residents, business owners, artists and young people), cultural associations, universities and non-profit organizations, as well as partnerships with travel agencies, foundations and wellness companies that are interested in contributing to the sustainable development of towns and villages in Campania.
